TAK BAT DOK MAI FESTIVAL
Wat Phra Phutthabat Ratchaworamahawihan, Saraburi

The Tak Bat Dok Mai floral offering merit-making ritual is unique to Saraburi province. In addition to the offerings of cooked rice, food, incense, candles, and other conventional sacred items, the Tak Bat Dok Mai ritual includes offerings of Dok Khao Phansa flowers, which only bloom during the Buddhist Lent, hence the origin of its name.

The island resort of Phuket is hosting the Halal Food Hilal Town Fair to highlight the island’s readiness in catering to the special dietary needs of visitors who observe halal.
